Remarking on how much she enjoyed seeing her and Kenneth on Wednesday; thanking her for some violets; accepting an invitation to lunch on Thursday the 3rd; noting that there are a "few awful misprints" in her preface to Swinburne and asking her to correct them in her copy; mentioning that she has just written a poem and promising to send a copy soon. Mentioning that the American publisher of her anthology has asked her to write something about a book by his daughter; quoting a passage about a poodle and noting that she responded that the doctors have forbidden her to do so.
